Don’t want to be a Debbie-Downer, but I can’t buy into the “we’re winning” line. Apologies, but I think it’s important to be realistic. I’m not saying we can’t win. We can, but it’s going to take much more than what we’re currently doing.
id like to catch you on the definition of marxism vs communism vs socialism vs democratic socialism. i "think" you were saying that those terms are being used as the "boogeyman" to scare us and stay with capitalism but for a moment it almost sounded like you were conflating them all which is.. well i could do a dissertation on those wrong that is. as someone who grew up in a former communist country i have some firsthand knowledge. but ill take this to mean you were simply making a point that they're trying to scare us into staying in our status quo.
the main bit was to help people see that the emperor has no clothes. there are many economic models and societies, and tyrants can and do emerge in all societies. lionizing capitalism as more liberty oriented is, under these (and historical) circumstances, laughable.
Every show of care, every demand for more equality, every voice raised in remonstrance against robbing the poor to give to the rich is a personal affirmation of resentment. The dislike at the way that ordinary people and the rule of law just don’t count any more is becoming more and more widespread. It is those who do not know the value of work who do not realise how much the country relies on the working man and woman and how enormous fortunes held by the wealthy are of no benefit at all to society on the whole.
I love this doodle practice and this doodle so much! I'm so glad you have such a sweet partner supporting you and reflecting back to you what he sees in you. It is beautiful and fierce and full of heart! Thank you.

and yes: they are doing to those terms what they did to woke. i refuse to stand for the anti intellectual death dealing gaslighting.
I clearly distinguished them for a lay audience.
