In so many conversations about trans women there are comments like “why would a man dress as a woman to get access to ladies bathrooms? Psychological projection is the name of the game and obfuscation is the tool. Patriarchy has long functioned like this - morphing and employing violence (manipulative rhetoric or otherwise) every time attempts to expose its arbitrary logic materialize - and it’s the work of anyone who cares about others to call these tactics out for what they are: anti-social and not in keeping with healthy and stable human communities. Our side would be well served to continue to focus on demanding responsibility, transparency and accountability from those in power and esp. from those inclined to abuse their power✌️
