Yes to all this and a strike would do the trick but until we are angry enough to accomplish a successful strike and willing to make the hard sacrifices that would be required then I suggest we also organize focused boycotts, starting with Amazon. Our power is economic.

Nothing about SCOTUS? Any attempt at legislation, or accountability/prosecution, will eventually end up on their desks, and be overturned with the flimsiest of arguments, and most tortured sets of mentally gymnastic "reasoning." Term limits, a binding Code of Ethics with enforceable legal consequences, and possibly an expansion of the bench - all are required to rebuild the checks and balances to judicial power. At least three of them need to face impeachment, with formal, public hearings.

I was hoping to see the No Kings protests turn into a general strike, but I hoped that for Occupy Wall Street, too. The time was a year ago, but no better time than now to start/continue building mutual aid networks at the city, state, and inter-state levels. Look to the BLM, First Nations, Latino, and LGBTQ activists that have been doing this for decades, build solidarity.

And good luck. I'd love to return to visit friends and family, and maybe make new ones someday.

Universal rent strike, mortgage and student loan payment freeze. General strike next; my reasons for suggesting this is that demanding that people miss work, for as long as it takes, unless you are entirely ready to feed them (and their children) may be more hardship than people are prepared to endure....yet. Also creates a gap in which to prepare relief efforts.

I said begin preparing for the general strike. I sometimes assume people remember all the work on the Daisy Chain, to build parallel systems of support to hold the strike. I suspect it will take the American people a lot of time to hold a national strike, and it's likely it won't start all at once. There's usually some inflection point.
