the courage to love

what if the ugliest of times requires of us our grandest capacity to love?
2

Neighbor, what if I told you the solution to this moment isn’t about being willing to take up arms and die for your country? That’s actually not how we end this— not if we want decency, agency, and human life to prevail. What we need, each of us, is to be courageous enough to get offline and love our neighbors.

If you find yourself sucking your teeth at these words, I want to encourage you, especially, to take time to listen to this episode. I’m not asking you to believe me. I’m asking you to let the words percolate, to have the courage to hear them.

Neighbor, there is a nonviolent way forward in this— one that will result in saving lives, preventing any more needless suffering, and coming back to a central human truth which appears to have been evading us since the inception of supremacy culture: we are, across time and distance, neighbors. we are each other’s keepers, and we are each reflections of the divine.

The moment we step courageously into that truth, the quicker this all ends and the more beauty we will experience. This isn’t naievte: this is the spiritual warfare of disarmament.

Listen in. And if this reasonates, don’t just share it here, directly share this podcast with the people in your orbit. The revolution will not be digitized.

Watch this space, neighbor. I’m writing something for you that I think is gonna give you a whle lot of your hope and your agency back— and just might help us save our neighbors from the brink.

Our collective liberation isn’t just possible: it’s already here. It just needs you to answer the call.
